Early in the month, we submitted our Preliminary Design Briefing. This 30 slide powerpoint gave an overview of all the general pod specifications and sub systems. The team heard back mid-November that we are 1 of roughly 50 teams to make it onto the next round of the competition. This means that it is now full steam ahead to the next deadline, the Final Design Package, due in January.
On November 2nd, we talked about our design at the Rice Engineering Alumni homecoming reception. We had a great time speaking about our project to alumni and getting there feedback. Check out the picture below of our setup from the event!
